सिं॒हे व्या॒घ्र उ॒त या पृदा॑कौ॒ त्विषि॑र॒ग्नौ ब्रा॑ह्म॒णे सूर्ये॒ या। इन्द्रं॒ या दे॒वी सु॒भगा॑ ज॒जान॒ सा न॒ ऐतु॒ वर्च॑सा संविदा॒ना॥१॥
siṃhe vyāghra uta yā pṛdākau tviṣir agnau brāhmaṇe sūrye yā indraṃ yā devī subhagā jajāna sā na etu varcasā saṃvidānā
In the lion, in the tiger, in the two that rend, in the flashing fire, in the Brahmin, in the sun—she who, the blessed Goddess, bore Indra, may she come to us, conferring lustre.

या ह॒स्तिनि॑ द्वी॒पिनि॒ या हिर॑ण्ये॒ त्विषि॑र॒प्सु गोषु॒ या पुरु॑षेषु । इन्द्रं॒ या दे॒वी सु॒भगा॑ ज॒जान॒ सा न॒ ऐतु॒ वर्च॑सा संविदा॒ना॥२॥
yā hastini dvīpini yā hiraṇye tviṣir apsu goṣu yā puruṣeṣu indraṃ yā devī subhagā jajāna sā na etu varcasā saṃvidānā
In the elephant, in the dvīpinī, in gold, in the flashing waters, in cows, in men—she who, the blessed Goddess, bore Indra, may she come to us, conferring lustre.

रथे॑ अ॒क्षेष्वृ॑ष॒भस्य॒ वाजे॒ वाते॑ प॒र्जन्ये॒ वरु॑णस्य॒ शुष्मे॑ । इन्द्रं॒ या दे॒वी सु॒भगा॑ ज॒जान॒ सा न॒ ऐतु॒ वर्च॑सा संविदा॒ना॥३॥
rathe akṣeṣv ṛṣabhasya vāje vāte parjanye varuṇasya śuṣme. indraṃ yā devī subhagā jajāna sā na aitu varcasā saṃvidānā.
May She who, fair and gracious, bore Indra come to us endowed with radiance—She in the chariot’s wheels, in the Bull’s vigor, in prize-winning strength, in the wind, in Parjanya, in Varuṇa’s might.

रा॒ज॒न्येऽदुन्दु॒भावाय॑ताया॒मश्व॑स्य॒ वाजे॒ पुरु॑षस्य मा॒यौ। इन्द्रं॒ या दे॒वी सु॒भगा॑ ज॒जान॒ सा न॒ ऐतु॒ वर्च॑सा संविदा॒ना॥४॥
rājanye dundubhāv āyatāyām aśvasya vāje puruṣasya māyau. indraṃ yā devī subhagā jajāna sā na aitu varcasā saṃvidānā.
May the gracious Goddess who bore Indra come to us endowed with radiance—amid royal power, in the war-drum’s thunder, in the tension of the drawn bow, in the horse’s prize-winning speed, in the man’s skill.
