उ॒त्त॒मो अ॒स्योष॑धीनां॒ तव॑ वृ॒क्षा उ॑प॒स्तयः॑ । उ॒प॒स्तिर॑स्तु सो॒३स्माकं॒ यो अ॒स्मां अ॑भि॒दास॑ति ॥१॥
uttamo asyauṣadhīnām tava vṛkṣā upastayaḥ upastir astu so’smākaṃ yo asmān abhidāsati
Among herbs you are the highest; your trees are our support. Let that support be for us against whoever attacks us.

सब॑न्धु॒श्चास॑बन्धुश्च॒ यो अ॒स्मां अ॑भि॒दास॑ति । तेषां॒ सा वृ॒क्षाणा॑मिवा॒हं भू॑यासमुत्त॒मः ॥२॥
sabandhuś cāsabandhuś ca yo asmān abhidāsati teṣāṃ sā vṛkṣāṇām ivāhaṃ bhūyāsam uttamaḥ
Whoever attacks us, kinsman or not, may I be their superior, like the tallest among trees.

यथा॒ सोम॒ ओष॑धीनामुत्त॒मो ह॒विषां॑ कृ॒तः । त॒लाशा॑ वृ॒क्षाणा॑मिवा॒हं भू॑यासमुत्त॒मः ॥३॥
yathā soma oṣadhīnām uttamo haviṣāṃ kṛtaḥ talāśā vṛkṣāṇām ivāhaṃ bhūyāsam uttamaḥ
As Soma is foremost among herbs and the best of offerings, so may I be the highest, like the crown of the trees.
