परि॒ द्यामि॑व॒ सूर्योऽही॑नां॒ जनि॑मागमम्। रात्री॒ जग॑दिवा॒न्यद्धं॒सात् तेना॑ ते वारये वि॒षम्॥१॥
pari dyām iva sūryo ’hīnāṃ janim āgamam | rātrī jagad ivānyad dhaṃsāt tena te vāraye viṣam
As Sūrya circles the sky, I have come to the brood of serpents. Night and day revolve; with that I ward off your poison.

यद् ब्र॒ह्मभि॒र्यदृषि॑भि॒र्यद् दे॒वैर्वि॑दि॒तं पु॒रा। यद् भू॒तं भव्य॑मास॒न्वत् तेना॑ ते वारये वि॒षम्॥२॥
yad brahmabhir yad ṛṣibhir yad devair viditaṃ purā | yad bhūtaṃ bhavyam āsan vat tena te vāraye viṣam
What was known of old by the Brahmans, by the seers, by the gods—what has been, what shall be—by that I ward off your poison.

मध्वा॑ पृञ्चे न॒द्यः॑१ पर्व॑ता गि॒रयो॒ मधु॑ । मधु॒ परु॑ष्णी॒ शीपा॑ला॒ शमा॒स्ने अ॑स्तु॒ शं हृ॒दे॥३॥
madhvā pṛñce nadyaḥ parvatā girayo madhu | madhu paruṣṇī śīpālā śam āsne astu śaṃ hṛde
With sweetness I anoint: the rivers, the mountains, the hills are sweet; sweet is Paruṣṇī, the well-watered fields. Peace to the marrow, peace to the heart.
