पर्व॑ताद् दि॒वो योने॒रङ्गा॑दङ्गात् स॒माभृ॑तम्। शेपो॒ गर्भ॑स्य रेतो॒धाः सरौ॑ प॒र्णमि॒वा द॑धत्॥१॥
Parvatād divo yoner aṅgād aṅgāt samābhṛtam śepo garbhasya retodhāḥ saraū parṇam iva dadhat
From the mountain, from the sky’s womb, from limb to limb it is gathered together; Shepo, the guardian of seed in the womb, holding the reeds like leaves.

यथे॒यं पृ॑थि॒वी म॒ही भू॒तानां॒ गर्भ॑माद॒धे। ए॒वा द॑धामि ते॒ गर्भं॒ तस्मै॒ त्वामव॑से हुवे ॥२॥
yatheyaṃ pṛthivī mahī bhūtānāṃ garbham ādadhé evā dadhāmi te garbhaṃ tasmai tvām avase huve
As this great earth bears the womb of beings, so I place the womb in you; to that aid I call upon you.

garbhaṃ dhehi sinīvāli garbhaṃ dhehi sarasvati garbhaṃ te aśvinobhā dhattāṃ puṣkarasrajā
Place the womb, O Sinīvāli; place the womb, O Sarasvatī. Let both Aśvins, with lotus-hands, place the womb for you.

गर्भं॑ ते मि॒त्रावरु॑णौ॒ गर्भं॑ दे॒वो बृह॒स्पतिः॑ । गर्भं॑ त॒ इन्द्र॑श्चा॒ग्निश्च॒ गर्भं॑ धा॒ता द॑धातु ते ॥४॥
garbhaṃ te mitrāvaruṇau garbhaṃ devo bṛhaspatiḥ garbhaṃ te indraś cāgniś ca garbhaṃ dhātā dadhātu te
Let Mitra and Varuṇa place the womb for you; let the god Bṛhaspati place the womb. Let Indra and Agni, and Dhātṛ, place the womb in you.

विष्णु॒र्योनिं॑ कल्पयतु॒ त्वष्टा॑ रू॒पाणि॑ पिंशतु । आ सि॑ञ्चतु प्र॒जाप॑तिर्धा॒ता गर्भं॑ दधातु ते ॥५॥
viṣṇur yoniṃ kalpayatu tvaṣṭā rūpāṇi piṃśatu ā siñcatu prajāpatis dhātā garbhaṃ dadhātu te
May Viṣṇu prepare the womb-place; may Tvaṣṭṛ shape the forms. May Prajāpati pour in; may Dhātṛ place the womb in you.

यद् वेद॒ राजा॒ वरु॑णो॒ यद् वा॑ दे॒वी सर॑स्वती । यदिन्द्रो॑ वृत्र॒हा वेद॒ तद् ग॑र्भ॒कर॑णं पिब ॥६॥
yad veda rājā varuṇo yad vā devī sarasvatī yad indro vṛtrahā veda tad garbhakaraṇaṃ piba
What King Varuṇa knows, and what the goddess Sarasvatī knows, what Indra the Vṛtra-slayer knows—drink that which makes for conception.

गर्भो॑ अ॒स्योष॑धीनां॒ गर्भो॒ वन॒स्पती॑नाम्। गर्भो॒ विश्व॑स्य भू॒तस्य॒ सो अ॑ग्ने॒ गर्भ॒मेह धाः॑ ॥७॥
garbho asya oṣadhīnāṃ garbho vanaspatīnāṃ garbho viśvasya bhūtasya so agne garbham iha dhāḥ
He is the embryo of the herbs, the embryo of the forest plants, the embryo of all that exists. O Agni, here place the embryo.

adhi skanda vīrayasva garbham ā dhehi yonyām vṛṣāsi vṛṣṇy āvan prajyāyai tvā nayāmasi
Descend and be vigorous; place the embryo in the womb. You are virile, dwelling in virility; we lead you to progeny.

vi jihīṣva bārhatsāme garbhas te yonim ā śayām aduṣṭe devāḥ putraṃ somapā ubhayāvinam
Win forth, O Bharatsāman; let your embryo lie in the womb. In what is uninjured, may the gods who drink Soma grant a son who partakes of both lineages.

dhātaḥ śreṣṭhena rūpeṇāsya nāryā gavīnyoḥ pumāṃsaṃ putram ā dhehi daśame māsi sūtave
O Dhātṛ, by your finest form, for this woman and her cow-wealth, place a male child as a son, to be born in the tenth month.

By the finest form of Savitṛ, for this woman among cows, place within her a male child to be born in the tenth month.
