suparṇas tvān vavindat sūkaras tvā khann asā dipsauṣadhe tvaṃ dipsantam ava kṛtyākṛtaṃ jahi
The Suparṇa found you; the boar dug you out with his snout. O herb that strikes, strike the striker; undo witchcraft and smite what is done.

ṛśyasyeva parīśāsaṃ parikṛtya pari tvacaḥ | kṛtyāṃ kṛtyākṛte devā niṣkam iva prati muñcata
Like the hide is stripped from a gazelle, having cut around the skin, O gods, release the spell from the spell-maker as a ring is slipped off.

punaḥ kṛtyāṃ kṛtyākṛte hastagṛhya parā ṇaya | samakṣam asmā ā dhehi yathā kṛtyākṛtaṃ hanat
Take the spell back from the spell-maker, seizing it by the hand, and lead it away. Set it before us openly, so that the spell-slayer may strike the spell.

kṛtyāḥ santu kṛtyākṛte śapathaḥ śapathīyate | sukho ratha iva vartatāṃ kṛtyā kṛtyākṛtaṃ punaḥ
Let the curses fall upon the spell-maker; the oath be sworn against the oath-breaker. May our course roll on smoothly like a chariot; let the spell return upon the spell-maker.

yadi strī yadi vā pumān kṛtyāṃ cakāra pāpmane | tām u tasmai nayāmasy aśvam ivāśvābhidhānyā
If a woman or a man performed the spell for evil, we lead that very spell back upon that one, like a horse upon its rightful rider.

agne pṛtanāṣāt pṛtanāḥ sahasva punaḥ kṛtyāṃ kṛtyākṛte pratiharaṇena harāmasi
Agni, vanquisher in battle, overcome the hosts. Again we drive back the witchcraft with counter-witchcraft by repelling it.

putra iva pitaraṃ gaccha svaja ivābhiṣṭhito daśa bandham ivāvakrāmī gaccha kṛtye kṛtyākṛtaṃ punaḥ
Go back, like a son to his father, like a kinsman to his clan; go back like a bond returning. Kṛtyā, go back to the unmaker who made you.

Let Kṛtyā overtake her maker like a woodman’s axe-swing, like a deer’s leap.

iṣvā ṛjīyaḥ patatu dyāvāpṛthivī taṃ prati sā taṃ mṛgam iva gṛhṇatu kṛtyā kṛtyākṛtaṃ punaḥ
Let the straight-flying arrow fall upon him—Heaven and Earth, aim at that one. As a hunter takes a deer, so let Kṛtyā seize him; go back, Kṛtyā, to the unmaker who made you.

agnir iva etu pratikūlam anukūlam ivodakam. sukho ratha iva vartatāṃ kṛtyā kṛtyākr̥taṃ punaḥ.
May what is hostile be consumed like by Agni, and what is favorable flow like water. May the chariot of ease roll on; let what is to be done be done, and what is ill done be made right again.
