ह॒रि॒णस्य॑ रघु॒ष्यदोऽधि॑ शी॒र्षणि॑ भेष॒जम्। स क्षे॑त्रि॒यं वि॒षाण॑या विषू॒चीन॑मनीनशत्॥१॥
hariṇasya raghūṣyado ’dhi śīrṣaṇi bheṣajam. sa kṣetriyaṃ viṣāṇayā viṣūcīnam anīnaśat.
The remedy lies upon the head of the fleet deer Ruddy; with its horn he drove away the wasting, the piercing sickness.

अनु॑ त्वा हरि॒णो वृषा॑ प॒द्भिश्च॒तुर्भि॑रक्रमीत्। विषा॑णे॒ वि ष्य॑ गुष्पि॒तं यद॑स्य क्षेत्रि॒यं हृ॒दि॥२॥
anu tvā hariṇo vṛṣā padbhiś caturbhir akramīt. viṣāṇe vi ṣya guṣpitaṃ yad asya kṣetriyaṃ hṛdi.
After you strode the virile deer with four feet. With the horn, out, out with what is stuck and festering—whatever wasting lies in his heart.

अ॒दो यद॑व॒रोच॑ते॒ चतु॑ष्पक्षमिव च्छ॒दिः । तेना॑ ते॒ सर्वं॑ क्षेत्रि॒यमङ्गे॑भ्यो नाशयामसि ॥३॥
ado yad avarocate catuṣpakṣam iva chadiḥ. tena te sarvaṃ kṣetriyam aṅgebhyo nāśayāmasi.
Whatever shows itself below like a four-sided covering—by that we destroy all your wasting from the limbs.

अ॒मू ये दि॒वि सु॒भगे॑ वि॒चृतौ॒ नाम॒ तार॑के । वि क्षे॑त्रि॒यस्य॑ मुञ्चतामध॒मं पाश॑मुत्त॒मम्॥४॥
amū ye divi subhage vicṛtau nāma tārake. vi kṣetriyasya muñcatām adhamaṃ pāśam uttamam.
Those fair ones spread in the sky, named the stars—let them release the wasting’s bonds, the lowest and the highest.

आप॒ इद् वा उ॑ भेष॒जीरापो॑ अमीव॒चात॑नीः । आपो॒ विश्व॑स्य भेष॒जीस्तास्त्वा॑ मुञ्चन्तु क्षेत्रि॒यात्॥५॥
āpa id vā u bheṣajīr āpo amīvachātanīḥ. āpo viśvasya bheṣajīs tās tvā muñcantu kṣetriyāt.
Waters indeed are healers; the waters drive away disease. The waters are remedies for all—may they release you from wasting.

यदा॑सु॒तेः क्रि॒यमा॑णायाः क्षेत्रि॒यं त्वा॑ व्यान॒शे। वेदा॒हं तस्य॑ भेष॒जं क्षे॑त्रि॒यं ना॑शयामि॒ त्वत्॥६॥
yadā suteḥ kriyamāṇāyāḥ kṣetriyaṃ tvā vyānaśe | vedāhaṃ tasya bheṣajaṃ kṣetriyaṃ nāśayāmi tvat
When, in the making of the offspring, the field-born blight has struck you, I know the remedy for that. I destroy the field-bred pest from you.

अ॒प॒वा॒से नक्ष॑त्राणामपवा॒स उ॒षसा॑मु॒त। अपा॒स्मत् सर्वं॑ दुर्भू॒तमप॑ क्षेत्रि॒यमु॑च्छतु ॥७॥
apavāse nakṣatrāṇām apavāsa uṣasām uta | apāsmat sarvaṃ durbhūtam apa kṣetriyam ucchetu
In the exile of the constellations, in the exile of the dawns—let all misfortune depart from us; let the field-bred blight be uprooted.
