६ उपरिष्टाद्विराड् बृहती, ७ विराड् गर्भा, ९ निचृदनुष्टुप्, १० अनुष्टुप्। ये अ॒ग्नयो॑ अ॒प्स्व॑१न्तर्ये वृ॒त्रे ये पुरु॑षे॒ ये अश्म॑सु । य आ॑वि॒वेशोष॑धी॒र्यो वन॒स्पतीं॒स्तेभ्यो॑ अ॒ग्निभ्यो॑ हु॒तम॑स्त्वे॒तत्॥१॥
ye agnayo apsv antar ye vṛtre ye puruṣe ye aśmasu | ya āviveśoṣadhīr yo vanaspatīṁs tebhyo agnibhyo hutam astv etat
May this offering be for those Agnis who are in the waters, who are in the Vrtra, who are in the man, who are in the stones; who entered the herbs, who entered the trees.

यः सोमे॑ अ॒न्तर्यो गोष्व॒न्तर्य आवि॑ष्टो॒ वयः॑सु॒ यो मृ॒गेषु॑ । य आ॑वि॒वेश॑ द्वि॒पदो॒ यश्चतु॑ष्पद॒स्तेभ्यो॑ अ॒ग्निभ्यो॑ हु॒तम॑स्त्वे॒तत्॥२॥
yaḥ some antar yo goṣv antar y āviṣṭo vayaḥsu yo mṛgeṣu | ya āviveśa dvi-pado yaś catuṣpadas tebhyo agnibhyo hutam astv etat
May this offering be for those Agnis who are within Soma, who are within the cows, who have entered the birds, who are in the wild creatures; who entered the bipeds and the quadrupeds.

य इन्द्रे॑ण स॒रथं॒ याति॑ दे॒वो वै॑श्वान॒र उ॒त वि॑श्वदा॒व्यः । यं जोह॑वीमि॒ पृत॑नासु सास॒हिं तेभ्यो॑ अ॒ग्निभ्यो॑ हु॒तम॑स्त्वे॒तत्॥३॥
ya indreṇa sarathaṁ yāti devo vaiśvānara uta viśvadāvyaḥ | yaṁ johavīmi pṛtanāsu sāsahiṁ tebhyo agnibhyo hutam astv etat
May this offering be for those Agnis with whom the god Vaiśvānara goes allied with Indra, the protector of all; whom I invoke, the champion in battles.

यो दे॒वो वि॒श्वाद् यमु॒ काम॑मा॒हुर्यं दा॒तारं॑ प्रतिगृ॒ह्णन्त॑मा॒हुः । यो धीरः॑ श॒क्रः प॑रि॒भूरदा॑भ्य॒स्तेभ्यो॑ अ॒ग्निभ्यो॑ हु॒तम॑स्त्वे॒तत्॥४॥
yo devo viśvād yamu kāmam āhur yaṁ dātāraṁ pratigṛhṇantam āhuḥ | yo dhīraḥ śakraḥ paribhūr adābhyas tebhyo agnibhyo hutam astv etat
May this offering be for that god whom they call the fulfiller of every desire, whom they call the giver and receiver; who is wise, mighty, all-surpassing, invincible.

यं त्वा॒ होता॑रं॒ मन॑सा॒भि सं॑वि॒दुस्त्रयो॑दश भौव॒नाः पञ्च॑ मान॒वाः । व॒र्चो॒धसे॑ य॒शसे॑ सू॒नृता॑वते॒ तेभ्यो॑ अ॒ग्निभ्यो॑ हु॒तम॑स्त्वे॒तत्॥५॥
yaṁ tvā hotāraṁ manasābhi saṁvidus trayodaśa bhauvanāḥ pañca mānavāḥ | varcodhase yaśase sūnṛtāvate tebhyo agnibhyo hutam astv etat
You whom the Hotar, with mind, has recognized—thirteen divine and five human—bestower of splendor, fame, and gracious speech: may this offering be for those Agnis.

उ॒क्षान्ना॑य व॒शान्ना॑य॒ सोम॑पृष्ठाय वे॒धसे॑ । वै॒श्वा॒न॒रज्ये॑ष्ठेभ्य॒स्तेभ्यो॑ अ॒ग्निभ्यो॑ हु॒तम॑स्त्वे॒तत्॥६॥
ukṣān nāya vaśān nāya somapṛṣṭhāya vedhase vaiśvānara-jyeṣṭhebhyas tebhyo agnibhyo hutam astv etat
To the eater of oxen, to the eater of cows, to the Soma-backed, to the wise; to those Agnis who are the eldest in Vaiśvānara’s dominion—may this oblation reach them.

दिवं॑ पृथि॒वीमन्व॒न्तरि॑क्षं॒ ये वि॒द्युत॑मनुसं॒चर॑न्ति । ये दि॒क्ष्व॑१न्तर्ये वाते॑ अ॒न्तस्तेभ्यो॑ अ॒ग्निभ्यो॑ हु॒तम॑स्त्वे॒तत्॥७॥
divaṃ pṛthivīm antarīkṣaṃ ye vidyutam anusañcaranti ye dikṣv antarye vāte antaḥ tebhyo agnibhyo hutam astv etat
Who traverse heaven, earth, and the midspace following the lightning; who are within the quarters and within the winds—to those Agnis may this oblation reach.

हिर॑ण्यपाणिं सवि॒तार॒मिन्द्रं॒ बृह॒स्पतिं॒ वरु॑णं मि॒त्रम॒ग्निम्। विश्वा॑न् दे॒वानङ्गि॑रसो हवामह इ॒मं क्रव्यादं॑ शमयन्त्व॒ग्निम्॥८॥
hiraṇya-pāṇiṃ savitāram indraṃ bṛhaspatiṃ varuṇaṃ mitram agnim viśvān devān aṅgiraso havāmaha imaṃ kravyādaṃ śamayantu agnim
We call Savitṛ of the golden hand, Indra, Bṛhaspati, Varuṇa, Mitra, Agni, all the gods and the Aṅgirases: may they pacify this flesh-eating fire.

शा॒न्तो अ॒ग्निः क्र॒व्याच्छा॒न्तः पु॑रुष॒रेष॑णः । अथो॒ यो वि॑श्वदा॒व्य॑१स्तं क्र॒व्याद॑मशीशमम्॥९॥
śānto agniḥ kravyāc śāntaḥ puruṣa-reṣaṇaḥ atho yo viśvadāvyas taṃ kravyādam aśīśamam
Let the man-eating fire be calmed, calmed be the seeker of human prey; and also that all-harming one—may that flesh-eater, insatiate, be subdued.

ये पर्व॑ताः॒ सोम॑पृष्ठा॒ आप॑ उत्तान॒शीव॑रीः । वातः॑ प॒र्जन्य॒ आद॒ग्निस्ते क्र॒व्याद॑मशीशमन्॥१०॥
ye parvatāḥ somapṛṣṭhā āpa uttāna-śīvarīḥ vātaḥ parjanya ādagnis te kravyādam aśīśaman
The mountains with Soma on their backs, the waters, the upturned Śīvarīs, the Wind, the Rain, and Agni—let them subdue the flesh-eater.
