यथे॒दं भूम्या॒ अधि॒ तृणं॒ वातो॑ मथा॒य॑ति । ए॒वा म॑थ्नामि ते मनो॒ यथा॒ मां का॒मिन्यसो॒ यथा॒ मन्नाप॑गा॒ असः॑ ॥१॥
yathedaṃ bhūmyā adhi tṛṇaṃ vāto mathāyati evā mathnāmi te mano yathā māṃ kāminy aso yathā man nāpagā asaḥ
As the wind churns the grass that is upon this earth, so I stir your mind—so that women may desire me, so that I may not be cast away from their thoughts.

सं चेन्नया॑थो अश्विना का॒मिना॒ सं च॒ वक्ष॑थः । सं वां॒ भगा॑सो अग्मत॒ सं चि॒त्तानि॒ समु॑ व्र॒ता॥२॥
saṁ cen nayātho aśvinā kāminā saṁ ca vakṣathaḥ | saṁ vāṁ bhagāso aghmata saṁ cittāni sam u vratā ||
If indeed, O Aśvins, you come with favor and desire, may the portions come to you together; may minds unite, and vows as one.

यत् सु॑प॒र्णा वि॑व॒क्षवो॑ अनमी॒वा वि॑व॒क्षवः॑ । तत्र॑ मे गछता॒द्धवं॑ श॒ल्य इ॑व॒ कुल्म॑लं॒ यथा॑ ॥३॥
yat suparṇā vivakṣavo anamīvā vivakṣavaḥ | tatra me gachatād dhavaṁ śalya iva kulmalaṁ yathā ||
Where the bright birds would speak, free from illness, eager to speak— there, go forth for me, as a thorn pulls out the lump.

यदन्त॑रं॒ तद् बाह्यं॒ यद् बाह्यं॒ तदन्त॑रम्। क॒न्याऽनां वि॒श्वरू॑पाणां॒ मनो॑ गृभायौषधे ॥४॥
yad antaraṁ tad bāhyaṁ yad bāhyaṁ tad antaram | kanyānāṁ viśvarūpāṇāṁ mano gṛbhāy auṣadhe ||
What is within is that without; what is without is that within. O herb, seize the mind of maidens of every form.

एयम॑ग॒न् पति॑कामा॒ जनि॑कामो॒ऽहमाग॑मम्। अश्वः॒ कनि॑क्रद॒द् यथा॒ भगे॑ना॒हं स॒हाग॑मम्॥५॥
eyam agan patikāmā janikāmo ’ham āgamam | aśvaḥ kanikradad yathā bhagenāhaṁ sahāgamam ||
She came, desiring a husband; I came desiring offspring. Like a neighing horse, I came together with Bhaga.
