एह य॑न्तु प॒शवो॒ ये प॑रे॒युर्वा॒युर्येषां॑ सहचा॒रं जु॒जोष॑ । त्वष्टा॒ येषां॑ रूप॒धेया॑नि वेदा॒स्मिन् तान् गो॒ष्ठे स॑वि॒ता नि य॑छतु ॥१॥
eha yantu paśavo ye pareyur vāyur yeṣāṃ sahacāraṃ jujoṣa | tvaṣṭā yeṣāṃ rūpadheyāni vedā asmin tān goṣṭhe savitā ni yacchatu
Let the cattle who have strayed return here, and those who have gone beyond; may Vāyu, their companion, be pleased. Tvaṣṭṛ, who knows their forms and patterns—may Savitṛ bring them all into this pen.

इ॒मं गो॒ष्ठं प॒शवः॒ सं स्र॑वन्तु॒ बृह॒स्पति॒रा न॑यतु प्रजा॒नन्। सि॒नी॒वा॒ली न॑य॒त्वाग्र॑मेषामाज॒ग्मुषो॑ अनुमते॒ नि य॑छ ॥२॥
imaṃ goṣṭhaṃ paśavaḥ saṃ sravantu bṛhaspatir ā nayatu prajānan | sinīvālī nayatv agrameṣām ājagmuṣo anumate ni yacha
Let the cattle stream into this pen; let Bṛhaspati, all-knowing, lead them. Let Sinīvālī lead their front; O Anumati, settle those who have arrived.

सं सं स्र॑वन्तु प॒शवः॒ समश्वाः॒ समु॒ पूरु॑षाः । सं धा॒न्यऽस्य॒ या स्फा॒तिः सं॑स्रा॒व्येऽण ह॒विषा॑ जुहोमि ॥३॥
saṃ saṃ sravantu paśavaḥ sam aśvāḥ samu pūruṣāḥ | saṃ dhānyasya yā sphātiḥ saṃsrāvye 'ṇa haviṣā juhomi
Let the cattle flow together, the horses together, the men together. Let the abundance of grain gather together; with flowing oblation I offer.

सं सि॑ञ्चामि॒ गवां॑ क्षी॒रं समाज्ये॑न॒ बलं॒ रसम्। संसि॑क्ता अ॒स्माकं॑ वी॒रा ध्रु॒वा गावो॒ मयि॒ गोप॑तौ ॥४॥
saṃ siñcāmi gavāṃ kṣīraṃ sam ājyena balaṃ rasam | saṃsiktā asmākaṃ vīrā dhruvā gāvo mayi gopatau
I sprinkle the milk of the cows, the strength and essence with ghee. Thus sprinkled, may our heroes be firm; may the cows be steadfast with me as their herdsman.

आ ह॑रामि॒ गवां॑ क्षी॒रमाहा॑र्षं धा॒न्यं॑१ रस॑म्। आहृ॑ता अ॒स्माकं॑ वी॒रा आ पत्नी॑रि॒दमस्त॑कम्॥५॥
ā harāmi gavāṃ kṣīram āharṣaṃ dhānyaṃ rasam | āhṛtā asmākaṃ vīrā ā patnīr idam astakam
I bring in the cows’ milk, the joy-bringing sap of the grain. Brought in are our heroes; O wives, to the very crown, here it is.
