स्तु॒वा॒नम॑ग्न॒ आ व॑ह यातु॒धानं॑ किमी॒दिन॑म्। त्वं हि दे॑व वन्दि॒तो ह॒न्ता दस्यो॑र्ब॒भूवि॑थ ॥१॥
stuvānam agna ā vaha yātudhānaṁ kimīdinam. tvaṁ hi deva vandito hantā dasyor babhūvitha.
O Agni, bring here the sorcerer, the harm-doer, while we praise you. For, O god who is honored, you have become the slayer of the foe.

आज्य॑स्य परमेष्ठिन् जात॑वेद॒स्तनू॑वशिन्। अग्ने॑ तौ॒लस्य॒ प्राशा॑न यातु॒धाना॒न् वि ला॑पय ॥२॥
ājyasya parameṣṭhin jātavedas tanū-vaśin. agne taulasya prāśān yātudhānān vi lāpaya.
O Jātavedas, lord of the oblation, indweller of the body, Agni, having eaten the oblation of Taulā, crush and scatter the sorcerers.

वि ल॑पन्तु यातु॒धाना॑ अ॒त्त्रिणो॒ ये कि॑मी॒दिनः॑ । अथे॒दम॑ग्ने नो ह॒विरिन्द्र॑श्च प्रति॑ हर्यतम्॥३॥
vi lapantu yātudhānā attriṇo ye kimīdinaḥ. athedam agne no havir indraś ca prati haryatam.
Let the sorcerers, the flesh-eaters who cause harm, wail and perish. Then, Agni, may Indra and you be pleased with this our oblation.

अ॒ग्नि पूर्व॒ आ र॑भतां॒ प्रेन्द्रो॑ नुदतु बाहु॒मा॑न्। ब्रवी॑तु॒ सर्वो॑ यातु॒मान॒यम॒स्मीत्येत्य॑ ॥४॥
agni pūrva ā rabhataṁ pre ndro nudatu bāhumān. bravītu sarvo yātumān ayam asmīty etya.
Let Agni seize them first; then let Indra, strong-armed, drive them away. Let all declare of the sorcerer: “This one belongs to us—take him here!”

पश्या॑म ते वी॒र्यं॒ जातवेदः॒ प्र णो॑ ब्रूहि यातु॒धाना॑न् नृचक्षः । त्वया॒ सर्वे॒ परि॑तप्ताः पु॒रस्तात्त आ य॑न्तु प्रब्रुवा॒णा उपे॒दम्॥५॥
paśyāma te vīryaṃ jātavedas pra ṇo brūhi yātudhānān nṛcakṣaḥ tvayā sarve paritaptāḥ purastāt ta ā yantu prabruvāṇā upedam
Jātavedas, let us behold your valor. Speak out to us of the Yātudhānas, O seer of men. By you may all those scorched in front come here, confessing, into our reach.

आ र॑भस्व जातवेदो॒ऽस्माकार्था॑य जज्ञिषे । दू॒तो नो॑ अग्ने भू॒त्वा या॑तु॒धाना॒न् वि ला॑पय ॥६॥
ā rabhasva jātavedo ’smākārthāya jajñiṣe dūto no agne bhūtvā yātudhānān vi lāpaya
Set to work, Jātavedas; you were born for our cause. Become our messenger, Agni, and scatter the Yātudhānas.

त्व॑मग्ने यातु॒धाना॒नुप॑बद्धाँ इ॒हा व॑ह । अथै॑षा॒मिन्द्रो॒ वज्रे॒णापि॑ शी॒र्षाणि॑ वृश्चतु ॥७॥
tvam agne yātudhānān upabaddhān iha vaha athaiṣām indro vajreṇāpi śīrṣāṇi vṛścatu
Agni, bring the bound Yātudhānas here. Then let Indra with the thunderbolt strike off their very heads.
