इ॒दं ज॑नासो वि॒दथ॑ म॒हद् ब्रह्म॑ वदिष्यति । न तत् पृ॑थिव्यां नो दि॒वि येन॑ प्रा॒णन्ति॑ वी॒रुधः॑ ॥१॥
idaṃ janāso vidatha mahad brahma vadiṣyati na tat pṛthivyāṃ no divi yena prāṇanti vīrudhaḥ
Here, people at the gathering will speak of the great Brahman. It is not on earth nor in heaven that plants draw breath by it.

अ॒न्तरि॑क्ष आसां॒ स्थाम॑ श्रान्त॒सदा॑मिव । आ॒स्थान॑म॒स्य भू॒तस्य॑ वि॒दुष्टद् वे॒धसो॒ न वा॑ ॥२॥
antarikṣa āsāṃ sthāma śrāntasadām iva āsthānam asya bhūtasya viduṣ tad vedhaso na vā
In the midspace is their station, like those who sit wearied. The knowing seers recognize that as the abode of this being—or not.

यद् रोद॑सी॒ रेज॑माने॒ भूमि॑श्च नि॒रत॑क्षतम्। आ॒र्द्रं तद॒द्य स॑र्व॒दा स॑मु॒द्रस्ये॑व स्रो॒त्याः ॥३॥
yad rodasī rejamāne bhūmiś ca niratakṣatam ārdraṃ tad adya sarvadā samudrasy eva srotyāḥ
When the two worlds and the earth trembled and were split open, may that moist flow be ours today and always, like the current of the ocean.

विश्व॑म॒न्याम॑भी॒वार॒ तद॒न्यस्या॒मधि॑श्रि॒तम्। दि॒वे च॑ वि॒श्ववे॑दसे पृथि॒व्यै चा॑करं॒ नमः॑ ॥४॥
viśvam anyām abhīvara tad anyasyām adhi śritam dive ca viśvavedase pṛthivyai cākaraṃ namaḥ
I bow to the All-knower of heaven and to the earth: one world encompasses all, and upon another it is established.
