विश्वे॑ देवा॒ वस॑वो॒ रक्ष॑ते॒ममु॒तादि॑त्या जागृ॒त यू॒यम॒स्मिन्। मेमं सना॑भिरु॒त वा॒न्यना॑भि॒र्मेमं प्राप॒त् पौरु॑षेयो व॒धो यः ॥१॥
viśve devā vasavo rakṣatemaṃ utādityā jāgṛta yūyam asmin | memaṃ sanābhir uta vānyanābhir memaṃ prāpat pauruṣeyo vadho yaḥ
May the Viśve Devaḥ and the Vasus protect this one; and you Ādityas, keep awake over him. Let not this man be struck by our own kin or by others; let not the man-destroying blow reach him.

ये वो॑ देवाः पि॒तरो॒ ये च॑ पु॒त्राः सचे॑तसो मे शृणुते॒दमु॒क्तम्। सर्वे॑भ्यो वः॒ प॑रि ददाम्ये॒तं स्व॒स्त्येऽनं ज॒रसे॑ वहाथ ॥२॥
ye vo devāḥ pitaro ye ca putrāḥ sacetaso me śṛṇutedam uktam | sarvebhyo vaḥ pari dadāmy etaṃ svastye ‘naṃ jarase vahātha
You gods who are forefathers and you who are sons—O mindful ones—hear this my utterance. I hand this over to you all; carry him to well-being, free from harm and old age.

ये दे॑वा दि॒वि ष्ठ ये पृ॑थि॒व्यां ये अ॒न्तरि॑क्ष॒ ओष॑धीषु प॒शुष्व॒प्स्व॑१न्तः । ते कृ॑णुत ज॒रस॒मायु॑र॒स्मै श॒तम॒न्यान् परि॑ वृणक्तु मृ॒त्यून्॥३॥
ye devā divi ṣṭha ye pṛthivyāṃ ye antarīkṣa oṣadhīṣu paśuṣv apsv antaḥ | te kṛṇuta jarasam āyur asmai śatam anyān pari vṛṇaktu mṛtyūn
You gods who are in heaven, on earth, in the midspace, in herbs, in cattle, and within the waters—grant this man age and vigor; let him choose out a hundred other deaths away from him.

येषां॑ प्रया॒जा उ॒त वा॑नुया॒जा हु॒तभा॑गा अहु॒ताद॑श्च दे॒वाः । येषां॑ वः॒ पञ्च॑ प्र॒दिशो॒ विभ॑क्ता॒स्तान् वो अ॒स्मै स॑त्र॒सदः॑ कृणोमि ॥४॥
yeṣāṃ prayājā uta vā’nuyājā hutabhāgā ahutādaś ca devāḥ | yeṣāṃ vaḥ pañca pradiśo vibhaktās tān vo asmai satrasadaḥ kṛṇomi
Those gods whose fore-offerings and after-offerings have their share, and those without offerings; you whose five regions are apportioned—I constitute you here as this man’s session-companions.
