Atharvaveda (Shaunaka Samhita) · Chapter Kanda 1 · Verse 1.27.1
amūḥ pāre pṛdā kva striṣaptā nirjarāyavaḥ tāsāṁ jarāyubhir vayam akṣyāv api vyayāmasyaghāyoḥ paripanthinaḥ
Those yonder on the far side, the water-drinkers, the threefold-uttered, ageless— with their membranes may we strip the eyes of the evildoer, the waylayer, all around.
Atharvaveda — Kanda 1, Sukta 27, Mantra 2 (स्वस्त्ययनम्।)
Atharvaveda (Shaunaka Samhita) · Chapter Kanda 1 · Verse 1.27.2
viṣūcy eti kṛntatī pinākam iva bibhratī viṣvak punar bhuvā mano ’samṛddhā aghāyavaḥ
Let the dissector, bearing a bow like Pināka, cut asunder; let the mind of the evildoers, impoverished, become again and again dispersed on every side.
Atharvaveda — Kanda 1, Sukta 27, Mantra 3 (स्वस्त्ययनम्।)
Atharvaveda (Shaunaka Samhita) · Chapter Kanda 1 · Verse 1.27.3
na bahavaḥ samaśakan nārbhakā abhi dādhṛṣuḥ veṇor adgā ivābhito ’samṛddhā aghāyavaḥ
Many could not match them, nor could mere children dare confront; like reeds mown down all around—the evildoers, ill-fated.
Atharvaveda — Kanda 1, Sukta 27, Mantra 4 (स्वस्त्ययनम्।)
Atharvaveda (Shaunaka Samhita) · Chapter Kanda 1 · Verse 1.27.4
pretaṁ pādau pra sphurataṁ vahatāṁ pṛṇato gṛhān indrāṇy etu prathamājitām uṣitā puraḥ
Go forth, move your feet, shake yourselves; carry away the plundered goods. O Indrāṇī, be first; the victors have set out in front.
