ज॒रा॒यु॒जः प्र॑थ॒म उ॒स्रियो॒ वृषा॒ वात॑भ्रजा स्त॒नय॑न्नेति वृ॒ष्ट्या। स नो॑ मृडाति त॒न्व ऋजु॒गो रु॒जन् य एक॒मोज॑स्त्रे॒धा वि॑चक्र॒मे॥१॥
jarāyujaḥ prathama usriyo vṛṣā vātabhrajā stanayann eti vṛṣṭyā sa no mṛḍāti tanva ṛjugo rujan ya ekam ojas tredhā vicakrame
Born with the membrane, first, the bright bull, thunder-voiced, drives with the storm. May he be gracious to us, straightening our frame, the one who in one might strode forth threefold.

अङ्गे॑ अङ्गे शो॒चिषा॑ शिश्रिया॒णं न॑म॒स्यन्त॑स्त्वा ह॒विषा॑ विधेम । अ॒ङ्कान्त्स॑म॒ङ्कान् ह॒विषा॑ विधेम॒ यो अग्र॑भी॒त् पर्वा॑स्या॒ ग्रभी॑ता ॥२॥
aṅge aṅge śociṣā śiśriyāṇaṃ namasyantas tvā haviṣā vidhema aṅkāntsam aṅkān haviṣā vidhema yo agrabhīt parvās yā grabhītā
With fire on every limb blazing forth, we honor you with offering, bowing down. From lap to lap we offer with oblation, you who seized the joints, the seizer of the joints.

मु॒ञ्च शी॑र्ष॒क्त्या उ॒त का॒स ए॑नं॒ परु॑ष्परुरावि॒वेशा॒ यो अ॑स्य । यो अ॑भ्र॒जा वा॑त॒जा यश्च॒ शुष्मो॒ वन॒स्पती॑न्त्सचतां॒ पर्व॑तांश्च ॥३॥
muñca śīrṣaktyā uta kāsa enaṃ paruṣ parur āviv eśā yo asya yo abhrajā vātajā yaś ca śuṣmo vanaspatīnt sacatāṃ parvatāṃś ca
Release him from head-ache and from cough; whatever has settled on him, biting and smarting—whether cloud-born, wind-born, or fierce power—let it join with the plants and with the mountains.

शं मे॒ पर॑स्मै॒ गात्रा॑य॒ शम॒स्त्वव॑राय मे । शं मे॑ च॒तुर्भ्यो॒ अङ्गे॑भ्यः॒ शम॑स्तु त॒न्वे॒३मम॑ ॥४॥
śaṃ me parasmai gātrāya śam astv avarāya me śaṃ me caturbhyo aṅgebhyaḥ śam astu tanve mama
Peace to my upper limb, peace to my lower; peace to my four limbs, peace to my body.
